    Please note that used gliders should be carefully inspected prior to purchase. Although we have intimate knowledge of many of the gliders above, some were traded in and we have neither the time or desire to test fly them. The prices reflect age, condition, our knowledge of the glider, suitability for new pilots, etc. etc. Many sites will not allow older gliders to fly there even though the glider might be certified which to us, is totally wrong. Hang gliders like the Stratus, were not certified but had an acceptable safety record. The Dawns (they were certified) had a good safety record but had a poor reputation Due to 3 incidents (that had nothing to do with the glider design) that received wide publicity. The Cirrus 5 was certified and the Sea Hawks may have been but major sites might not allow you to fly them as they are about a 20 year old design. All of those factors should be taken into account before considering any of the gliders. For a new pilot, the best investment in your flying future is a Falcon. For an experienced pilot the same might also be true.
